This past Wednesday, 3 of us SC Active Rainers had the wonderful pleasure of meeting our AR friend, "C" Starr in person. She was in SC visiting family -- so how could she possible leave out her AR family?
Celina Gleason, Kim Peasley-Parker and I met "C" at Clark's restaurant in Santee, SC --- "C" brought along her brother and his girl friend since she did not know her way around this part of SC.
The 6 of us plus "Miss Maddie" (Kim's daughter) had a wonderful lunch and an awesome time visiting.
As you may imagine, "C" did a lot of the talking -- the 3 SC girls were taking it all in .
It is so neat to meet face to face with someone with whom you have developed such a friendship on AR.
I've got to tell you -- my friend, "C",can really eat -- my goodness, the skinny one packed away 2 appetizers, main entree and dessert. Something just doesn't seem right about her being able to eat so much -- there I was the "heavy" one and could not even finish my chicken salad croissant.
Thanks, Celina and Kim for helping me to show our NY Active Rain friend some Southern Hospitality. We did talk about doing some sort of "social workshop" -- just haven't really decided exactly what -- Just keep tuned --
