Wonderful news.  The recovery from chemo, as I've observed with friends, is slow, but with good nutrition and keeping busy, the time will pass and she'll be stonger than ever. 

Sadly, one of my sons was striken with Melanoma and after 3 years of chemo, did not recover.  We lost him 2.5 years ago. 

You are, indeed, fortunate.
